To ensure the building met the highest performance, safety, and sustainability standards, Faith Regional partnered with TUNE for a robust and forward-thinking commissioning process.

TUNE’s involvement began during construction and extended seamlessly into the Occupancy and Operations Phase. This continuity ensured that every system was thoroughly tested, fine-tuned, and verified against the Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR). The result: a facility designed to operate at peak performance from day one.

Envelope Commissioning was a key component of the commissioning process, which evaluated the building’s energy performance and integrity, setting the stage for long-term energy savings and occupant comfort. TUNE leveraged its deep expertise in operations and maintenance (O&M) to craft intelligent, energy-efficient control strategies across all critical building systems.

TUNE’s scope covered a comprehensive range of systems essential to a modern healthcare facility:

• Building Automation System (BAS)

• Air Handling Units (AHUs)

• Hot Water and Chilled Water Systems

• Surgical and Exhaust Systems

• Smoke Control Systems

• Domestic Hot Water

• Lighting Control Systems

• Emergency Power Systems

Each system was meticulously tested and integrated to ensure seamless operation, safety, and resilience. Of particular importance was the design and implementation of emergency power sequences and timer settings, which are vital for maintaining uninterrupted care during power outages.

TUNE also provided expert troubleshooting, quickly identifying and resolving system discrepancies to keep the project on track and within performance expectations.
